AboutTHE ISLAND OFKORCULA

Guests use Korcula island as a base because it is centrally located half way between Dubrovnik and Split. They visit Dubrovnik, Mljet, Hvar or Split as day trips, and avoid packing and unpacking, and checking in and out of different accommodations. They do a day trip every second day, and have a chill day in between spent on the beach or lazing around on the waterfront in front of the villa. Korcula boasts a mild Mediterranean climate and around 3000 hours of sunshine per year. The island is unspoiled with an abundance of secluded places to swim, and it is the most densely forested of Croatia's islands. Korcula is also a famous wine and olive oil making district. Korcula Old Town is a miniature Dubrovnik, less expensive with smaller crowds. It is renowned for its history and architecture, and for being the birth place of Marco Polo.

AboutOURWaterfrontVILLA

Our 5 room waterfront villa is nestled in the closest bay to Korcula Old Town. This exclusive and quiet neighborhood is less than a 10 minute stroll away. Everything is easily accessible by foot, but just far enough to enjoy peace and privacy. The villa is only 5 meters from the sea, so you can swim up to the terrace. There are several beaches in the area. The nearest sand beach is across the bay. The property is surrounded by pine and cypress forests which are ideal for bush walking.

Korcula Waterfront Accommodation our story

My husband Antonio and I (Paulina) invite you to come and see why Korcula Waterfront Accommodation is no. 1 on Korcula island. I am an Australian who has been living on Korcula for 15 years. Antonio is a local and this is his family home. I managed a hostel in Sydney and a 4 star hotel in Croatia, while Antonio also has experience in hospitality and tourism. We travel and speak 5 languages, so we have a good idea of what travelers want. We have direct contact with our guests from their initial email, to meeting them in person in Korcula Town free of charge, and dropping them off again upon check out. We create a personalized concierge-type holiday experience as we live on the property. We do our own maintenance, cleaning, arrange airport transfers, other accommodation, activities, day trips, book tickets for shows, reserve tables at restaurants where we locals eat, suggest where to go for drinks, and where to shop. We love the outdoors and rent out motor boats, mountain bikes and offer an island and wine tasting excursion. We have been running this business for the past 10 years, and by doing everything ourselves we ensure that our guests enjoy a carefree holiday!
